The exam is conducted once every year for admissions to 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB and LLM courses. Candidates who obtained 75% or above in 10th and 12th, and candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in class 10th and `12th, along with CLAT AIR ranking up to 15000, are exempted from appearing for ULSAT 2025.

ULSAT Counselling - What Happens after ULSAT Result 2025?
The candidates who are shortlisted in the ULSAT 2025 entrance exam will be invited for the group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) round. Candidates will be shortlisted for GD PI round of UPES based on their rank in the merit list which is released by the university after result declaration. Such candidates will be informed about the GD and PI round through their registered email and they will have to appear in these rounds to be considered for admission to UPES. Selected candidates must get their documents verified and pay the required fees to complete the admission process.

UPES Law admission through CLAT 2025
Candidates who have a rank of up to 15,000 in the Common Law Admission Test are eligible for the 5-year LLB course offered by UPES. They need not appear for ULSAT 2025
UPES Law admission through Board Exams
- Candidates who have secured 75% marks in both higher secondary and senior secondary with five main subjects (English compulsory) need not appear for ULSAT 2025. They will get direct admission to 5-year LLB programmes.
- Candidates with 50% marks or above in classes 10th and 12th with the main five subjects (English as one of the compulsory subjects) and a CLAT rank higher than 15000 need not appear for ULSAT.
