The AP LAWCET paper pattern 2026 consists of three sections which are GK and mental ability, current affairs, and aptitude for the study of law. There will be 120 multiple-choice questions spread across the three sections. Each question will be followed by four options. The AP LAWCET total marks is 120. The three sections in the AP LAWCET 2026 syllabus have different weights. Candidates must note that the AP LAWCET question paper pattern for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB is the same. The difference only exists in the difficulty level of both exams. The expected standard for the AP LAWCET 5-year LLB exam is of class 12 while AP LAWCET 3-year LLB is of the standard of graduation level. AP LAWCET 2026 Exam Pattern: Important Points

• There will be three sections on general knowledge and mental ability, current affairs and Aptitude for the study of law titled Part A, Part B and Part C respectively. For Part C, candidates must possess an elementary understanding of the basic principles of the Law and Constitution of India
• Part A and Part B have 30 questions each while Part C has 60 questions. The questions would be in the form of MCQs with four options each.
• Every question carries one mark
• There is no AP LAWCET negative marking

The syllabus of AP LAWCET 2026 will consist of topics in the three sections contained in the LAWCET paper pattern. The GK and the current affairs section have 25% weightage. Qualifying Marks in AP LAWCET Exam Pattern 2026

The AP LAWCET 2026 qualifying marks is 35%. It means candidates must score a minimum of 42 marks out of a total 120 marks in order to qualify for ranking and be eligible to register for AP LAWCET 2026 counselling process. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for candidates from SC and ST category.

AP PGLCET 2026 Exam Pattern

APSCHE will conduct the AP PGLCET 2026 for admission into LLM programmes of participating colleges in Andhra Pradesh. In the AP PGLCET question paper pattern, there will be questions from different areas of law. AP PGLCET question paper will be in English only. In the AP PGLCET exam pattern 2026, there will be 120 questions on different laws divided into two parts A and B. Part A will have 40 questions while Part B will have 80 questions. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.

Qualifying Marks in AP PGLCET Exam Pattern 2026

As per AP PGLCET 2026 pattern, the qualifying percentage of marks is 25%. It means candidates must score a minimum of 30 marks out of a total 120 marks to be considered for ranking. However, this condition is only applicable for general and OBC categories. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for SC and ST category.
