National Law University Delhi (NLU Delhi) released the AILET 2026 answer key today on December 14, 2025, at its official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. How to calculate the probable score using the AILET 2026 answer key?
To calculate one’s probable score through the answer key of AILET 2026, candidates must refer to the marking scheme specified in the AILET 2026 exam pattern. Candidates are awarded one mark for every correct answer and a negative mark of 0.25 for every incorrect answer.
For a candidate who attempted 100 questions out of which 80 were correct, the AILET 2026 score calculation will be done as given below.

How to raise objections against AILET 2026 provisional answer key?
NLU Delhi opened the objection-raising window shortly at 8 PM on December 14, 2025. Candidates can submit their objections online after paying the Rs.500 as the objection-raising fee. It must be noted that the university will not accept any other means of submitting the objections. The objections must be submitted before 12:00 PM on December 16, 2025. If the objections against the AILET 2026 answer key are found to be valid, the university will refund the objection fee to the candidate.

Visit the official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in
Login to the AILET 2026 account
Click on the “View Objections” option
Next, click on Submit Objection button
Select the type of objection - about the question or about the answer key
Mention the objection details and click on the submit button
Repeat the process if there are more objections
After submitting all the objections, make the prescribed payment.

After considering the objections against the provisional answer key, NLU Delhi will release the AILET 2026 final answer key. Candidates can download the final answer key of AILET 2026 from the official website. The AILET 2026 result will be declared as per the AILET 2026 final answer key.

NLU Delhi will declare the AILET 2026 result tentatively 3 to 4 days after the exam. The result of AILET 2026 will be declared on the university’s official website. After declaring the result, the university will commence the registration for AILET 2026 counselling in online mode.
What is a good score in AILET 2026?
If one goes by the past trends visible in AILET cut-off, then a good score in AILET 2026 is around 75-80+ marks. The good score in AILET 2026 will also depend on the indications obtained through AILET exam analysis. In a bid to make the AILET exam easier, NLU Delhi increased the allotted time for AILET BA LLB from 90 minutes to 120 minutes last year. It also removed the descriptive section in AILET LLM. An easier paper is likely to increase the AILET cut-off and increase the calculations around a good score in AILET 2026.
