National Law University, Delhi has notified that all the BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM programmes seats have been filled except the seats under the Foreign Nationals category. So far, the university has conducted only two rounds of AILET 2025 counselling. The NLU Delhi seats have run out much before anticipated. Candidates would now want to know when NLU Delhi will release the third AILET 2025 merit list and resume the admission process. In this article, let us look at the AILET 2025 third merit list expected release date, possible reasons for NLU Delhi seats getting filled early, and more.
A possible reason for the AILET 2025 seats getting filled early might be the delay in the CLAT 2025 counselling process. The Consortium of NLUs has postponed the CLAT counselling indefinitely due to the ongoing court cases. The next CLAT 2025 Supreme Court hearing is scheduled for February 3, 2025. The Delhi HC will also take up the case on January 30.
NLU Delhi has notified that the third merit list of AILET 2025 will be released if any vacant seats arise due to the withdrawal of admissions by allotted candidates. The university has not given a specific date for publishing the third merit list. However, the university mentions that the third AILET 2025 merit list will be released after May 15, 2025.
