CLAT PG Counselling 2025 (Started): Third Allotment List (Out), Admission Process
CLAT PG 2025 Counselling: The CLAT PG 2025 counselling process is currently underway. The Consortium of NLUs has published the merit list for the third and final round of CLAT PG counselling on July 4, 2025, at 10 am. Candidates included in the third CLAT PG merit list must pay the confirmation fees by July 7, 2025, by 1 pm and pay the university fees by July 10 by 5 pm. The Consortium of NLUs will conduct only three rounds of CLAT PG counselling 2025. NLSIU Bengaluru has notified that it will conduct LLM admissions through only two rounds of CLAT PG counselling, with no admissions in the third allotment list. The CLAT PG seat allotment will be published based on the candidate's rank and NLU preferences provided by the candidates. Latest: CLAT PG 2025 Third Merit List
Earlier, the CLAT PG 2025 counselling registration closed on June 13, 2025. Candidates can obtain admission in only those NLUs that are part of their NLU preferences given at the time of registration. The Consortium of NLUs declared the CLAT PG 2025 revised result on June 10, 2025, as per modifications ordered by the Delhi HC judgement and outcome of its EC meeting. The CLAT PG counselling invite list is prepared as per the revised result. Through the Common Law Admission Test PG, candidates will be offered admission into LLM programmes of 24 national law universities and more than 60 private law schools. The list of CLAT colleges now includes two new universities which are part of the Consortium of NLUs - RPNLU Prayagraj and IIULER Goa. Earlier, the CLAT PG 2025 was conducted on December 1, 2024. The CLAT PG result was declared on December 7.

CLAT PG 2025 Counselling Step-by-Step Process
The steps in the CLAT LLM counselling 2025 process are described in detail below:
- CLAT PG Result 2025: The CLAT PG 2025 revised result has been declared on June 10, 2025.
- CLAT PG counselling registration 2025: The CLAT counselling registration has started on June 11. Candidates must mandatorily complete their CLAT PG 2025 counselling registration if they want to seek NLU admissions through CLAT. Candidates also have to submit their NLU preferences at the time of registration.
- Payment of counselling fees: Candidates participating in the CLAT PG counselling 2025 must pay the counselling fee of Rs 30,000 for the general category. SC and ST category candidates must pay the CLAT 2025 counselling fee of Rs 20,000. The CLAT counselling fee can be paid in online mode through a credit card/ debit card or NEFT.
- CLAT seat allotment 2025: Once the counselling registration process is over, the consortium allocates seats to students based on their merit ranks of candidates, NLU preferences entered by them etc. The CLAT PG seat allotment 2025 will be published in multiple rounds.
- Payment of admission fee: Candidates who have been allotted seats during the allotment rounds must complete the document verification process. After document verification, candidates will be required to pay the balance admission fee to confirm their seats.
- Reporting to the college: Candidates who have been allotted seats and have paid the remaining admission fee will then be required to report to the college and attend induction and complete other formalities.

Candidates are allowed to register for CLAT PG counselling 2025 through the official website of consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The steps to register for CLAT PG counselling have been given below:
Steps to complete CLAT PG Counselling Registration
Log on to the official website of CLAT - consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
Login to your CLAT candidate account through your mobile number and password and validate your CLAT PG counselling invite.
Submit the NLU preferences
Next, click on the “Make Payment” option.
Enter the payment and refund details required like bank account number, IFSC code etc.
Next, make the CLAT PG counselling fee payment.
Upon successful payment and regeneration of payment receipt, the CLAT PG counselling registration process will be completed.
