    About ACLAT 2026

    Alliance Common Law Admission Test, commonly known as ACLAT, is an entrance exam conducted by Alliance University, Bangalore for admission to the one-year LLM course. Alliance University has now announced the opening of the ACLAT application form 2026 in online mode. Interested candidates can register and submit the ACLAT 2026 application form at the official admission portal of the university: apply.alliance.edu.in. Candidates are encouraged to apply early for ACLAT 2026 to secure scholarships and programme choice. Candidates who have completed their LLB graduation from a law college recognised by the Bar Council of India with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category candidates) are eligible to apply for ACLAT 2026. The last date to submit the ACLAT 2026 application form will be notified later. The ACLAT 2026 application fee is Rs. 1000 for Indian candidates and US $50 for foreign nationals.

    The Alliance Common Law Admission Test (ACLAT) is a two-hour paper that will have 200 questions of one mark each. The Alliance University follows a negative marking scheme where 0.25 marks for every wrong answer will be deducted from the total score. Based on the ACLAT results, a rank list will be published, which will be the basis for the personal interview round, upon which a final merit list will be announced. Alliance University is offering 120 seats in the LLM programme. The law school also accepts a valid CLAT score, providing flexibility to aspirants across the country. Alliance offers a full range of programmes, including BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), LLB, LLM and PhD in Law.

    ACLAT Scholarships 2026

    Alliance has instituted one of the most comprehensive merit-based scholarship frameworks in the country. These merit-based scholarships aim to support students who have shown impressive academic performance. Alliance University offer these merit-based scholarships and encourages all eligible LL.M. students to apply for the scholarship. To apply for these merit-based scholarships, candidates will have to simply submit the scholarship application form along with their original documents, transcripts, and mark sheets. Along with merit-based scholarships, Alliance also provides category-based scholarships.
