NLU Delhi will notify the AILET 2026 seat intake along with the AILET reservation criteria on its official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The total AILET seat intake 2026 for the BA LLB programme is 120 seats and 81 seats for the LLM programme. Last year, NLU Delhi had launched a B.Com LLB course. However, the programme was immediately withdrawn due to administrative issues. AILET 2026 will tentatively be conducted in the second week of December 2025 in offline mode. Through the All India Law Entrance Test, candidates will be admitted into the UG law programmes of NLU Delhi. The university will conduct the All India Law Entrance Test PG to admit students into its LLM programme.

Given below are the AILET eligibility criteria that candidates must fulfil to obtain seat allotment at NLU Delhi. The eligibility criteria include the minimum requirements regarding educational qualification, passing marks, and age limit.

Candidates under the Foreign Nationals category must obtain a minimum of 65% marks in the qualifying exam for admission into BA LLB programmes.
Candidates under the Foreign National and OCI/PIO Category will be given admission based on the percentage of marks in the qualifying exam.
Candidates belonging to OCI/PIO category can also apply under the category of Indian National. In that case, they must complete AILET 2026 registration and appear for the AILET exam.
The vacant seats under the OCI/ PIO category will be converted to AILET seats for the general category and filled based on AILET merit.
