AILET PG Syllabus 2026 - Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme

The National Law University (NLU) Delhi prescribes the AILET PG 2026 syllabus on its official website: nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The AILET 2026 syllabus for LLM will comprise the core subjects in law. The syllabus of AILET PG 2026 tests the candidate's suitability to pursue the LLM programme and contains topics from different areas of law. As per the new exam pattern of AILET PG 2026, the exam will be MCQ-based only. The AILET LLM test paper will consist of 100 MCQs, with each question carrying 1 mark. All the 100 MCQs in AILET 2026 for LLM will be from the different branches of Law. The AILET PG syllabus 2026 now includes topics from general branches of law that candidates studied in their LLB.

If two or more candidates secure the same total marks in the exam, the AILET PG 2026 rank of the candidates will be determined based on the following tie-breaker rule:

  • Preference will be given to the candidate who is senior in age.

  • Computerised draw of lots.
