How to Download the AILET 2026 Final Answer Key

Candidates should follow these steps to download the official final answer key PDF once it is published:

• Visit the official NLUD website: nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.

• Go to the AILET 2026 admissions section or “Notifications”.

• Look for the link titled “AILET 2026 Final Answer Key” for BA LLB, LLM, or PhD.

• Click on the relevant programme link to open the PDF.

• Download and save the PDF for future reference and score calculation.

AILET 2026 Marking Scheme

To estimate the AILET rank accurately, use the official marking scheme as defined by NLU Delhi for the 150-mark paper:

• For every correct answer: +1 mark is awarded.

• For every wrong answer: -0.25 marks are deducted (negative marking applies).

• For unattempted questions: 0 mark deducted (no penalty).

• Total score = (number of correct answers × 1) – (number of incorrect answers × 0.25).

Details on AILET 2026 Result & Scorecard

The results will be declared shortly after the AILET final answer key is released. The individual scorecard will include:

• Candidate’s Name and Roll Number

• Section-wise scores (English, GK, and logical reasoning)

• All India Rank (AIR)

• Category-specific rank

• Qualifying status

AILET 2026 Counselling and Admission

The AILET 2026 counselling process will tentatively begin in late December 2026. NLU Delhi invites candidates based on their AIR and category ranks through a merit list.

• Merit lists: Multiple rounds of provisional merit lists are released until all seats are filled.

• Fee payment: Shortlisted candidates must pay a registration fee to secure their spot during the seat allotment process.

• Tie-breaking rule: If two students have identical scores, the candidate with higher marks in the Logical Reasoning section is ranked higher. If the tie remains, age (seniority) and then a computerised draw are used.
