The KLEE LLM exam pattern 2026 consists of 200 multiple-choice-based questions and it is divided into two sections. The unanswered/unattempted questions will result in zero marks.

According to KLEE LLM's previous year's marking scheme, students will be awarded for each correct answer with three marks. The maximum marks for the exam are 600 marks. However, for every wrong answer, one mark will be deducted as there is a provision for negative marking in KLEE LLM 2026. There is no deduction of marks for unanswered questions.

The exam authorities have specified the syllabus for the KLEE LLM examination. There are two parts and each part will have 100 MCQs. These questions will be drawn from various subjects of law. The KLEE LLM 2026 entrance exam will be held for the LLM programme in Kerala state tentatively in August 2026.
It is not mandatory to have an LLM degree but is recommended for a better reason to have one.
The KLEE exam is conducted by CEE for admission into 3-year LLB courses, 5-year LLB courses and LLM.
Candidates who are writing the KLEE LLM 2026 exam need to score 50% marks in the entrance exam.
In January 2021, the Bar Council of India, BCI declared that it would invalidate the one-year LLM courses all across the country. Hence, this means that there is only a two-year LLM programme valid in India.
