CLAT 2025 Counselling Fees

Refund of CLAT 2025 Counselling Fees

Candidates can check the instructions for a refund of the CLAT counselling registration fee 2025:

• If a candidate fails to get a seat at the end of the fifth round of the counselling process or has not chosen the Freeze or Float option and Exit from the counselling process, the CLAT 2025 counselling registration fee will be refunded in full.

• Where a candidate has been allocated a seat and has chosen a Float or Freeze option till the fourth round and chooses to exit or fails to complete the admission at the chosen NLU by paying their fees, their CLAT counselling registration fee will be refunded in full if the Exit option is exercised before the last date or after a deduction of Rs 5,000 ), if exercised after 1:00 PM on May 24, 2025.

• If a candidate is found to be ineligible by the NLUs upon document verification/ information provided at any round, the CLAT counselling registration fee will be refunded after a deduction of Rs. 5000.

• If a candidate opts for the ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ option and pays the confirmation fee but later exits from the process will have to forfeit the confirmation fee. The CLAT counselling registration fee for such candidates will be refunded either in full or after a deduction of Rs. 5000 if the exit is exercised after a specified deadline.

• Where a candidate is allotted a seat for the first time in the Fifth round of counselling, and the candidate chooses to exit or fails to complete their admission at the NLU by paying their fees, their counselling registration fee for CLAT 2025 shall be refunded in full.

• Refunds will be initiated to the same account from which the counselling Registration fee was paid. However, candidates have to ensure that their given bank accounts are functional during the counselling and refund process.

• Requests to settle refunds to another account will not be considered.

• The Confirmation Fee paid by any candidate shall be adjusted against the fees payable at the NLU where a candidate has secured admission. If a candidate chooses the ‘Exit’ option or fails to pay the fees due at the NLU within the prescribed date, or is found ineligible by an NLU based upon the verification of documents, the confirmation fee shall not be refunded.
