The Consortium of NLUs has released a detailed notification regarding the CLAT test day instructions for candidates. Candidates appearing for the Common Law Admission Test must review these guidelines and instructions. The CLAT 2025 is scheduled for December 1, 2024. and will be conducted in a single session from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

Candidates should note the following test day timings:
Candidates can enter the CLAT exam centre starting at 1:00 PM and must be seated in their assigned classrooms by 1:30 PM.
No entry into classrooms will be allowed after 2:15 PM.
The CLAT exam 2025 duration is 2 hours. The test will begin at 2:00 till 4:00 PM. No washroom facilities will be provided to the candidates.
Whereas, for PwD/SAP candidates, the exam duration is extended to 2 hours and 40 minutes, ending at 4:40 PM.

3:30 PM | Short Bell | Announcement of 1:30 minutes into the test |
3:50 PM | Short Bell | Warning Bell to indicate that 10 minutes are remaining for the test to end |
4:00 PM | Long Bell | Marks the completion of the test. No candidate will be allowed to write anything on the OMR Response Sheet/Question Booklet after this Bell. |

Given below is a list of valid ID proofs that are acceptable for the exam.
1. Aadhaar Card
2. Passport
3. PAN Card
4. Ration Card/ PDS Photo Card
5. Voter ID Card
6. Driving License
7. Any Photo ID issued by a Recognised Educational Institution
8. Photo Bank ATM Card
9. Kissan Photo Passbook
10. CGHS/ ECHS Photo Card
11. Address Card having Name and Photo issued by the Department of Posts
12. Certificate of Identity having photo issued by Gazetted Officer or Tehsildar on Letterhead
13. Disability ID Card/handicapped Medical Certificate issued by the respective State/UT Governments/Administrations.

CLAT admit card
Here is the list of the items that can be carried inside the test centre. Candidates must note that these items should not be carried in a bag to the examination centre.

The Question Booklet (QB) will carry the candidate’s photograph, name, and admit card number.
The CLAT QB consists of 120 MCQs and two blank pages for rough work. No additional sheets will be provided for rough work.
In case of any discrepancy in the QB, candidates should request the Invigilator to replace the QB and OMR Response Sheet. Do not use the previous OMR Response Sheet with the fresh QB.
Candidates must enter their Admit Card Number on the first page of the QB at the beginning of the test.

All the answers must be marked on the OMR sheet provided by the invigilators.
The original OMR sheet must be submitted to the invigilator after the exam
Candidates must fill in and sign the attendance sheet with their QB and OMR numbers.
Candidates suffering from an illness should carry their medication along with them. These candidates will be allotted an isolated facility to write the CLAT exam upon request to the Centre Superintendent at least 48 hours before the test.
