Army Institute of Law Entrance Test - AIL LET

The Army Institute of Law will declare the AIL LET 2025 result on June 3, 2025. Candidates can download the result of AIL LET 2025 online from their registered account. The AIL LET 2025 result will contain details such as marks obtained by the candidate, all India rank, category rank, roll number and candidate details.

Candidates must ensure they meet the AIL LET 2025 eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria of AIL LET 2025 prescribed the institute includes requirements about the minimum qualification, minimum marks in the qualifying exam, and age limit. The complete details of AIL LET eligibility criteria are as mentioned below. 

Educational Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: The candidates must have cleared 10+2 exam from Punjab School Education Board or an equivalent exam recognised by Punjabi University, Patiala.

• Minimum Marks in qualifying exam: Candidates must have scored a minimum aggregate marks in the qualifying exam should be 45%. 

• Open University: Candidates who have completed 10+2 through the Open University system directly without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies, are not eligible to apply.

• Compartment papers: Candidates who have passed 10+2 in compartments are not eligible for admission.

Provisional application: Applicants appearing in the qualifying exam in March/ April can take AIL LET 2025. However, such candidates need to produce their qualifying certificate with the minimum prescribed marks at the time of admission.

Age limit

There is no age limit for appearing in the AIL LET 2025 exam or pursuing BA LLB or LLM programmes from the institute.

The Army Institute of Law has opened the AIL LET application form correction window from May 5-7, 2025. Candidates can make corrections to the application form through their login. Earlier, the institute closed the application form with a late fee of Rs 1000 on May 3, 2025.  To complete the application process, candidates had to complete the application fee payment of Rs 3,300. The institute conducted the AIL LET 2025 exam on May 24, 2025. The deadline to submit the  AIL LET application form along with the fee of Rs 3300 for Indian Army (IA), Indian Navy (IN), Indian Air Force (IAF) and All India General Category was April 26, 2025 at 11:55 pm. Candidates must ensure to fill out the form accurately and completely. Any omission or error can lead to rejection of the application form. 

How to Fill AIL LET 2025 Application Form?

• Visit the official website and click on the official application link.

• Obtain login credentials by registering for the exam using basic details such as name, phone number, date of birth, email id, and other details. Upon successful registration, a registration number will be created.

• Log in to the newly created account to continue the application form-filling process. There will be sections like academic, personal and contact details, which have to be duly filled. 

• Upload photograph, signature, and other mandatory documents. Note that the size of documents to be uploaded must be – passport-size photos (<120 Kb), army category certificates (<1.5 MB), documents (<1.5 MB)

• Pay the stipulated application fee. .

The Army Institute of Law, Mohali, Punjab issued the AIL LET 2025 admit card on May 14, 2025 in online mode on the official examination portal of the institute. Candidates who register and complete the fee payment can download the AIL LET 2025 admit card till May 24, 2025 by logging into their registered account. The admit card is an important document which must be carried to the examination hall. It contains details such as the candidate's name and roll number, date and time of the exam, exam centre details, photo, and signature.

Important things to carry on AIL LET 2025 exam day 

Candidates appearing in AIL LET 2025 should carry the following items while going to the examination hall.

1. A hard copy of AIL LET 2025 admit card
2. A valid photo identity card 
3. A blue/black ballpoint pen

The institute notified the AIL LET counselling schedule 2025. The final course-wise merit list for AIL LET was published on June 12, 2025. The institute will conduct the counselling of AIL LET 2025 in online mode. Only those candidates who qualify for the AIL LET 2025 exam and are included in the merit list will be invited for the counselling. The AIL LET counselling preference window to choose the BA LLB or BCom LLB programme was open from June 4 to 7, 2025. The counselling process will be conducted as per the category of the candidates and their rank. Candidates shortlisted for counselling must be present at the counselling venue in person.

AIL LET Counselling process: Document submission, verification and admission 

The institute shortlists candidates based on their marks and rank in the merit list. Such candidates must submit the documents and certificates mentioned above to the institute. 

The counselling officials will verify the details submitted by the candidates during the application process by referring to the original documents. 

• If the candidates fulfil the eligibility and satisfy all conditions for admission, the institute will approve the admission. 
• To complete the admission process, such candidates will have to submit the course fee as prescribed by the institute.
